Sure hope someone can help me......

I recently bought a Digitan HI-IQ 2400 MNP-5 int modem, but the instructions
being what they are, I can't figure out the following:

	1) When do you tell the modem to go to MNP-5?  The booklet shows the
code to be AT\n3, but do I do that before I do the ATDT etc. or after?

	2) I've tried various settings but I keep getting garbage.  Also, I'm
using Telix v3.12, and the mnp-5 is hardware.  I tried to log on to PBs, as 
they advertise full support of mnp, v.32 and v.42, but all I got was garbage
until I set everything back to normal.(no MNP).
	
	3) Does anyone know which of the major bbs' (compuserve, etc) support
mnp?
