   I am seeking the answer to the following questions regarding
   token ring source routing support.
 
1) The gateway manual states that the XID frame is sent as an explorer
   frame.  Is this all-rings explorer (a.k.a. all-routes broadcast)
   or spanning explorer (a.k.a. single-routes broadcast)?
 
2) The gateway manual states that multicast frames are sent out as
   explorer frames.  Again, is this all-rings or spanning (i.e.
   all-routes broadcast or single-routes broadcast)?
 
3) Is the RIF cache updated when an all-rings explorer is
   received?
