I don't think anyone has even tried >an Xedit-on-a-Teletype. Dynasoft (somewhere in CA.) now has Xedit for UNIX. I have no idea how good it is (I am only familiar w/VM and Mansfields versions). Run $399 per site, if memory is sane... however it *might* be $299. They also have a REXX interpreter (and they stole the name of *MY* REXX implementation for UNIX, Uni-REXX). I would imagine it is useable as the macro interpreter for the editor. I love X/Kedit thought it has some shortcomings. Does anyone know how I might implement some of the word oriented vi functions such as '.' in REXX/KEXX. They are some of the few features of vi that I like and find lacking in X/kedit. Thanks for any help. --Andy Vida-Szucs
