    As simple as this sounds, the idea is doomed to failure.

People disagree about what effect results from my reminders not to use
the GNU mailing lists and newsgroups to promote proprietary software.

If you would like to discuss the question of what effect results,
please use gnu.misc.discuss.  If you'd like to argue for a change, you
might just send the message to me.  I'm the one who decided the FSF
policy, so I'm the person you need to persuade.
