Even worse, the command then hangs up, forcing me to abort (C-g) in order to continue at all. (I had previously tried using encrypt/decrypt functions written as extensions to Emacs, but these proved unsatisfactory in that they inadvertently expose the user-entered key.) Has anyone any thoughts regarding secure encryption schemata for Emacs? Please reply via E-mail at the address given below; if there is sufficient response, I shall post a summary hereat. Thanks much in advance, fellow Netlanders. Carol R. Barboni barboni@gdstech.grumman.com
