I found three TrueType fonts on a public-access Macintosh today, and I am tryin to determine whether or not they are publicly distributable. The fonts in ques are: Carolus Roman - a caps & small-caps Roman font; quite elegant Dragonwick - fancy decorative font Freestyle Script - nice "handwriting" font Are these TrueType fonts freely distributable? I've been told that Adobe has released some sort of "Freestyle Script" font; does anyone know the origin of these TrueType versions? Are they independant of any commercial fonts (i.e. TrueType conversions of public-domain or shareware PostScript Type 1 or 3 fonts, or the like)? Many thanks in advance, and please reply by email. If these fonts turn out to be publicly distributable, they will appear in the TrueType font archive that is part of the anonymous ftp archive at mac.archive.umich.edu. ------- Christopher Tate | "In a fit of perverse brilliance, Carl the | repairman mistook a room humidifier for a cxt105@psuvm.psu.edu | mid-size computer, but managed to get it cxt105@psuvm.bitnet | to connect to the network anyway."
