Hi there,

A flight controls group here is looking for a package to display results
from their guidance, navigation, & control algorithms.  They are currently
evaluating Dataviews.  

I'm trying to find some similar packages for evaulation.  I've heard of
apE, but don't know it's capabilities.

Our requirements are:

X-windows based
General purpose plotting package with graphs, meters, etc.
Basic animation utilities, i.e. can move a picture around on the screen.
Able to animate graphs and pictures with real-time data.
3D if possible.


I'm looking for recommendations and/or evaluations of packages like these,
PD or commercial.  Any comments?
