Specifically, I am interested in scaling an arbitrary two level (0/255) image to a gray-level image with size X * Y and gray-scale range 0-255 (gray-scale is necessary to avoid aliasing effects.) Speed is VERY important. I want to keep floating point operations, if any, to a bare minimum. Please reply by email. If there is enough interest, I will summarize on the net.
