We are trying to port a color version of cifplot to a DECstation 5000/200;
we've managed to solve some of the compatibility problems, but have come
across an in internal error we can't explain:

  > Internal Error: Element submitted past deadline in PutUnAct

This error occurs after a .cif file has been read, but before the plot is
generated. The version we have is identified as "Color Cifplot v. 1.0".
I've tried contacting Gary Lipton and the Massachusetts Microelectronics
Center, but have received no response. I'm looking for info concerning 
any similar ports, or an explanation of this mysterious error. I suspect
there are newer revisions around, but I haven't been able to find any.
