The BSD Mail version currently at uunet is 5.5.  It's missing definitions for
many symbols that used to be def'd in the .c's.  I don't see how it'll make on
any system, short of -Dtelepathy.  The version at gatekeeper is 5.3, but on our
DEC 5810, Ultrix 4.1, make results in gp relocation out-of-range.

We'd like to fix Mail's appending a remote recipient's FQDN to unqualified
local recipients.
