My system at home (farwest.fidonet.org) is the new UUCP/Usenet gateway for the Houston area. I'm having a problem with some of the Usenet feeds and I thought maybe somebody on the net might have a little insight into my problem. It seems that if a message entered on my system or a system that connects to mine is supposed to go to a moderated newsgroup, the message goes to the big bit-bucket in the sky. I talked to my UUCP host about it. He looked in his logs and informed me that there was a message stating something to the effect of "unauthorized entry into a moderated newsgroup". He said that entries to a moderated newsgroup should go to the moderator instead of directly into the newgroup. Non-moderated newsgroups appear to work fine. What can be done about this problem? Does anyone have any suggestions? I am running UFGATE version 1.03, Binkley version 2.4, and Qmail 1.0, and Maximus 1.02. Please respond the this address: perry@farwest.fidonet.org.
