A salesman told me that metal-E tapes can pick up 400 lines, while metal-P tapes can only pick up 330 lines. Another salesman told me that metal-E tapes are more prone to defects. Are these statements true? Which of these two has better picture quality? Which is less prone to defects? What are their price ranges? What are the commonly available brands? Which ones are good? Where can people find good prices? Thanks in advance.
