I like politics. I generally think that vigorous debate is a sign of health in an organization. Not this time. This whole process has been grim and ugly. It seems clear that a lot of what is being played out doesn't have much to do with the nuts and bolts of the reorganization. Unlike the previous two noters, I don't as much blame the CON side. They didn't devise this process, the PRO side did. And I have read more thoughtful CON commentary than I have PRO commentary. But to say that is to measure the CON side against an uncommunicative, propaganda-oriented Board seemingly more interested in a rush to power than in reasoned debate.
