Science, Uni of Sydney, Australia Lines: 16 Ive aquired an old Archive tape drive that was one part of a Tallgrass combined tape/hard-disk unit. The hard-disk and the controller are long gone , I have the drive , the Tallgrass box and its powersupply. The drive is labeled 'Archive model 9045B'. It appears to have the same interface connector as newer tape drives. Is this standard ? I want to hook it onto a SCSI system , and I believe that Adaptec makes a tape-to-SCSI board. At this stage Id like to know what the interface is on the 9045B , and what its capacity is. If it proves to have a QIC-?? interface , ill chase up a controller board for it .. matthew geier, matthew@cs.su.oz.au
