Hmm. It seems to work OK with our 3100s (running Ultrix 4.1 rev 52). One thing to try is to make sure that the DECstation thinks that the Mac is allowed to mount the volume (i.e., check the /etc/exports and /etc/hosts.equiv files). Also, you probably want to run pcnfsd or bwnfsd for authentication and file locking.
