The SNMP that came with isode 6.0 did not have the set operation. But the SNMP in isode 6.8 does. So I want to use isode 6.8 SNMP with my isode 6.0 infrastructure. Like I just want to copy the isode 6.8 SNMP directory over into the isode 6.0 tree and do a make in there. But isode 6.8 SNMP uses something called pepsy which of course is nonexistent in isode 6.0. HOW CAN I FIX THINGS SO THAT THE isode 6.8 SNMP WILL RUN IN AN isode 6.0 ENVIRONMENT ? Can pepsy be replaced by posy, will that cause other things to break ? Are there other incompatabilities lurking at every other corner ? I will continue to poke around, but in the meantime any response to this horrendous mishap (it might not seem that bad to you, I know) will be APPRECIATED a great deal, a great deal indeed. Very sincerely yours, Subhendu Ghatak
