Ever wished that you could convert it to a draw-file ? A friend of mine, Pieter Gosselink (he made the icons for Translator and Creator you like so much), finished the first version of an application that does just that. Not just the easy bits, the works ! !VDUobject accepts a file containing a sequence of VDU commands, and converts it to a draw file. When loaded into Draw, the original objects drawn by the VDU sequence are recreated, and can thereafter be manipulated at will. Needless to say, printing the image will result in a hard-copy with a much larger resolution. Circles will look like circles, not like some circle-like structure of 'bricks'. A cut-down version of !VDUobject was posted to the comp.binaries.acorn moderator and to the Newcastle filesever. The full version is available for a song (don't take this too literally), so he can make a tiny bit of money out of it, which is fully and truly deserved.
