Summary: I gotta get this thing fired up... Keywords: NeXT, DNET Message-ID: <1991May3.020013.9712@leland.Stanford.EDU> Date: 3 May 91 02:00:13 GMT Sender: news@leland.Stanford.EDU (Mr News) Organization: Academic Information Resources, Stanford University Lines: 17 I'm looking for anyone who's been able to use DNET through a null-modem to a workstation. I need some advice on how to get this thing fired up from my 500 to a NeXT. Everything's compiled, I've got the null-modem cable; I just need to know what the command-line options should be. I had DNET running through the modem before, to a VAX. I can see then where parity, baud and all that would matter. I have no idea what to do in the case of a null-modem. Could anyone give me some pointers? Matt's documentation is geared toward dial-outs through a modem.
