Wiskunde & Informatica, Vrije Universiteit, Amsterdam Lines: 31 OK, I am sorry to say that the Red Sector Demo Maker is a commercial product and that the version that was in ab20 is a pirated product. the RSDM is mar- keted by Data Becker, Merowingerstrasse 30, 4000 Duesseldorf, United Germany. I don't know who uploaded it, but these kind of mistakes may happen with products that seem to be marketed only in Europe (maybe it's PAL-only?). However, you should erase it if you have it. Note: the group Red Sector is still in the pirating business themselves, they have ganged up with a group called "Tristar" and are releasing other people's work. But this is no reason to become a pirate yourself by using the RDSM. For those people who are still thinking about buying a legit copy (for example thru a European mail-order company [the dollar went up the last months so this is the time]): Data Becker also has a "Erweiterungsset", call it the enhancer package, with new fonts, logos, objects, bobs, and sounds (DM 29,-). In the PD sector, I remember seeing an object editor for the RSDM. I don't have the RSDM, so I didn't try to get it. For those who don't believe this, check for example the ad on pp. 204-205 in the German M&T AMIGA Magazin, issue 5/91. You can also have a look at other Data Becker ads in recent German magazines (maybe English ones, too - I don't know). I already mailed Tad Guy about it and he removed the file from ab20.
