Message-ID: <91119.213327MAJI@SLACVM.SLAC.STANFORD.EDU> Date: 30 Apr 91 05:33:27 GMT Organization: Stanford Linear Accelerator Center Lines: 13 Hi, Yesterday when I working on a A2000. After I reboot the machine all of sudden I got the message that my hard disk is not a DOS disk. I thought it might have some corrupted files on the hard drive so I use diskdoctor trying to restore it. The diskdoctor reads most of cylinder just fine with some of file unreadable. Is there anyway that I can restore the hard drive without reformated. I just hate to backup everything. Also I notice that sometime I reboot the machine the machine can stay for a long time without any disk activity. The screen become white. I have to reset second time to gain any action. I really appreciate any help and comments Maji
