       Greetings,

          I have a Amiga 1000 that I am in the process of upgrading.
  I would like to purchase a hard drive for my system but I really 
  don`t have any idea where I should start and what would be a 
  good (friendly novice type) drive for me to consider.

          If anyone can steer me in the right direction and dosen`t
  mind me picking thier head for information please drop me 
  a note.
