Can anyone tell me if windows are made up of individual pieces----
You know, are the right scrollbar and arrows, bottom scrollbar and arrows,
left "space guage" and top drag bar separate graphical images that can be
modified like the gadgets?

If so can anyone point me to written reference on these things?
