I should mention that a great deal of attention has been paid to making 2.0 upward compatible, including some specific hacks in 2.0 to support broken 1.3 programs. 99% of the 1.3 software out there will run on 2.0 straight. This can't be said for Apple when they switched to 6.0, they'd just like you to *believe* that.
