It's been a while, but here goes...
Go to the room where the opening is 10 ft above the ground, operate the
torch on the left side of the room on itself.  Go through the opened
passage.  To avoid the curse of the wraith, touch it with a certain
torch when lit (you guess which one).  Somewhere in this area are three
gems, if not here, look behind the waterfall.  Put one of these gems in
the hole in the pedestal room.  A sphere will appear on the pedestal. 
throw this sphere in the lake.  The rest of it is up to you.
By the way, I was playing this on someone else's mac .  I got frustrated
and quit, so I never completed it.
