The position of the pointer on the screen reflects the relative position of the pointer on the virtual screen. So as you move toward the desk menu the pointer moves to the upper left corner of the CRT. As you deal with the File Selector, the pointer roves around the center of the screen. If you do something in the upper right corner of the virtual screen, the pointer is in the upper right part of the screen.
