I assume you mean, "Is there a way to change resolution such that GEM, AES, and VDI calls will work in the new resolutuion?" If so, the answer is no. Absolutely, positively do NOT bother trying to find a way to do this. It's completely impossible to accomplish without relying on undocumented locations in the ROM.
