If you're happy to have your binaries live in
/usr/local/Gnu/{bin,lib}, then snag the following file from
foobar.colorado.edu:pub/Gnu-For-Pmax

this is a set of binaries for g++ 1.37.2 (the last one that worked
well for me) g++ 1.37 w/ some changes for the decstation, OSF gcc,
ghostscript 2.1 and some other junk, like a reasonable GDB.
