Druzdzel) Newsgroups: comp.sys.dec.micro Subject: Rainbow/parts for sale Message-ID: <4c7gpUq00Uh_014UQg@andrew.cmu.edu> Date: 1 May 91 14:14:56 GMT Organization: Engineering and Public Policy, Carnegie Mellon, Pittsburgh, PA Lines: 25 I have a fully loaded DEC Rainbow that I won't need soon. It has a 10MB hard drive (Seagate), memory card with maximum memory on it (800K?), a double floppy disk drive (standard). I have both CPM and MS-DOS with original manuals. I also have Wordstar Professional (with manuals) and all original system/diagnostics software with manuals. I'll leave all public domain programs (e.g. Emacs, Kermit - sorry I'll keep the modem) on the hard disk. The system is in a very good condition and hasn't been used too much. I also have a complete "back-up" Rainbow box (mother board, power supply, and floppy drives; sorry no memory card, no hard disk, no monitor, no keyboard). I would like to sell everything for $400.- plus shipping ( < $30.-?). I have no idea whether this price is good, so I will be responsive to any feedback from the readers if it sounds outrageus. Alternatively, I will consider selling parts of the computer(s) if there is nobody who wants to take over the whole thing. Please, respond by E-Mail or call me at (412)521-9467 or (412)268-5610 or (412)268-2670 (Pittsburgh, PA) and leave a message if I'm not there. Marek
