The pager itself is a "receive" unit for receiving pages, and it is pretty much self contained (other than for the software that runs on the 95 for displaying/managing the pages). To send a page, you would need to connect the serial port to a modem (or directly) to a paging service. I'm not directly involved in the pager project, so give me a couple of percent error leeway :-).
