It was normally possible to get even very technical documentation without knowing any secret code, and the documentation is normally of a very high quality. But lately I have had troubles finding the right documentation. The "documentation index" from August 1989 is outdated, and no successor seems to be on the way. I have been having problems finding material about the 400-series; I found a reference to a "Tech. Ref. Guide" (I havn't received it yet, so I'm not sure what level its on), but have been unable to get a "configuration guide". Likewise I only noticed the "HPUX Portability Guide" because somebody mentioned it in this newsgroup. Is there any easy way to find out about available HP-documentation? Since the quality normally is so high, one should expect HP to do some more advertisement. Regards Carl-Lykke PS: At least it only takes about a fortnight to get the manuals from HP. I ordered a "Programmers Ref. manual for vt420" (or something like that) from Digital. It will be delivered in 3 months!
