From what i have heard, is that when PS/2 drives are shipped out fro the factory, they are formatted in some "special" way and will not work on a "regular" ISA type machine. From what i understand i can reformat this drive so that it is again "normal", but it would not be able to work in a PS/2 again after doing this. In any event, nobody seems to know antything about this kind of stuff, including IBM - at least the people if of stuff, including IBM - atleast the people i have talked to -- Everyone pleads ignorance. tim
