Hello net,

 I need help connecting a HP-9872B plotter to an IBM-PC. It has a 24-pin
centronics looking interface and a 14-pin that looks the same. Someone
told me that this is an IEEE-488 interface and you'll need either a 
232-488 converter or a card that goes in the PC. I have checked with
BLACK-BOX corp. and they have such a animal but want a lot of money for
it. Does anyone out there know if someone else make this converter or 
have one used. HELP!.
