I has a 5.25" drive only but I temporarily installed a 3.5" drive when setting up a network. i know it might sound obvious, but did you try changing the setup ?? I know it worked for me ! I was able to set up drive B as a 3.5" and I know that I could also set up another 5.25" with extreme ease... Try changing the set-ups, it should work.
