It would seem that, in addition to sending it back to Toshiba, there is also the option of pulling out the old drive, fitting whatever hardware (I mean mounting brackets, faceplate, etc.) is specific to the T1000 onto an OEM 3.5" drive, and putting in the OEM drive. I assume this ould save money because 3.5" drives are avilable for only several tens of de dollars. Has anyone done this, or does anyone have suggestions? Jeff
