The setting is a not-for-profit organization with one part-time paid office staff member (an administrator/secretary). I am the (volunteer) treasurer, and I find after a year and a half that I have pushed Quicken to its limits and beyond. The two contenders seem to be atOnce and Accountant. The latter costs about 30% more than the former. Does anyone have any experience comparing the two (or comparing to other accounting packages)? I would like to set up a system and then have it run by a non-accounting person (possibly a volunteer). I will summarize and post any email replies that I receive.
