One of my acquaintances recently read in some magazine the following
factoid: FDHD drives, so the article stated, get "used to" writing on
either 800K or 1.4M diskettes if they are used prevalently with one
kine or another, and begin to have difficulty dealing with the
magnetic characteristics of the other variety.

This seems like so much balderdash to me... Would anyone care to
confirm or deny this rumor, and help calm my friend down?
