The trick is...none of this will really help out the Mac users a bit. Any improvements will be made to software that runs on the Amiga. Whether a Mac user is working with the Toaster on an Amiga or on NewTek's standalone unit (there is no difference, except in name), they will still have to work with an Amiga.
