However: I've noticed that the "fast save" format is invoked in the file-type when your document has tables embedded in it--or at least when you try to open a document with tables with Nisus 3.04. I use Nisus a lot and discovered this to my dismay when I tried to open a client's document that contained budget tables and was totally unable to do so until I opened it with Word 4.0, changed the table back to tabs, and then saved it again. The error dialogue I got from Nisus told me something to the effect that Nisus was unable to open Word documents in fast-save format.
