Has anyone tried to do anything like the following - scan in a topographical map (USGS type) image, then render it into a 3-D view of the terrain? I heard about a new program called Contours - Pro that may do the rendering, but I'm not sure what I should think about for a workable combination of software and hardware to accomplish this task. Or am I completely out in left field? -- Uucp: ...{gatech,ames,rutgers}!ncar!asuvax!stjhmc!53!Lou.Florence Internet: Lou.Florence@f53.n114.z1.fidonet.org
