Message-ID: <1991May1.181604.22793@doug.cae.wisc.edu> Date: 1 May 91 23:16:04 GMT Distribution: usa Organization: Computer Aided Engineering Center, University of Wisconsin-Madison Lines: 18 I am writing a program for the Mac that will display a window on the screen that is either 80 columns by 24 lines or 80 by 20 lines, depending on how big the screen is. I know that I can call SysEnvirons to check whether I have an SE, a II, etc., but this is not necessarily reliable (e.g. an SE/30 with an additional big monitor). Is there an easy way to check what size screen(s) is attached? I've done some hunting through Inside Mac in what I thought were the obvious places, but I couldn't find what I was looking for. Any help anyone can give me will be greatly appreciated. Thanks much, jeff jeff verdegan Univ. of Wis. CAE Center jverdega@cae.wisc.edu
