I feel comfortable w/ ResEditing (Changing trash-can location in the Finder, FKEY installation, building my own KCHRs (eg: one handed Dvorak, or setting up control-space to send null for emacs) ...), but never figured out how to: 1: stop easy access from `exiting' if i accidentally type command-c as one (ie: i normally use easy access, but command-[xcv] are so easy to do one handed that I often type them and then lose easy access. I'd happily patch the binary INIT's w/ Easy Access, if I knew a patch). 2: replace all window title bars w/ a thinner bar. 3: replace all scroll bars w/ a narrower bar (guess who uses a 9" screen!). 4: have my disk icons start on the left side & go down (my trash is already on the right). Any clues / help would be appreciated. If sent by mail, i'll summarize and post to the net. Thanks, [Return address above is probably wrong!] - mike (newton@gumby.cs.caltech.edu)
