The official MINIX ftp site, plains.nodak.edu, has IBM MINIX demo disks. But, to my knowledge, a Mac demo doesn't exist, which is really unfortunate, because it's nice to demo a piece of software (especially an OS like Minix) before you actually go out and buy it. So, in summmary: IBM demo disks ARE available... ftp to plains.nodak.edu and poke around pub/Minix to find them. Mac demos are NOT available -- start a posting campaign on comp.os.minix if you'd like to see them made. =============================================================================== Donald Burr, Univ. of California,Berkeley | America Online: DonaldBurr INTERNET: dburr@ocf.Berkeley.EDU |_Compu$erve:_72540,3071_____________ or: 72540.3071@compuserve.COM | "Send flames to /dev/null."
