Message-ID: Date: 29 Apr 91 16:26:37 GMT Organization: Metallurgy and Material Science, Carnegie Mellon, Pittsburgh, PA Lines: 8 Has anyone used gnu tar with 2.88 meg floppies ? Using the "-M" option, supposedly multiple floppies can be used. I tried this, but instead of prompting me to switch disks, gnu tar just quit after the first disk was full. Here is the command I used: tar -cvMf /dev/fd0a {directory to be tar'ed} Any ideas ?
