Well, I have changed my machine name to "Perseus" by placing "hostname Perseus" in /etc/rc.local. HAnd replaced "localhost" on /etc/hosts by "Perseus". The mouse features didn't work. So, I went further by invoking NetManager to change the hostname from automatic to "Perseus" and it still didn't work. Could anyone out there tell me what is the problem? Am I missing something? Thanks. Johnson email address: c188-ap@volga.berkeley.edu
