        I would like to know the following. Please help.
 
        (1) twoside is the default in book style.
            How can I make it oneside. (my printer does not
            print two sides.)
 
        (2) How can we change the textwidth in the middle of the
            text?
 
        (3) I tried \date{....} to change the current date.
            It doesn't work and gives the current date.
            How can I change the current date?
        
        (4) How to use enumi counter for nested enumerate?
 
        (I use latex 2.9)
