     This is the second announcement for the Semi-Annual Regional Workshop in
Smooth Dynamical Systems, Ergodic Theory, and Related Topics.  These
workshops are held alternately at the Pennsylvania State University
and the University of Maryland.
     The Fall 1991 workshop will be held at the Keller Conference Center at
Penn State on October 3-6.   Please send all inquiries concerning this meeting
to dsworkshop@math.psu.edu or call Rosemary Manning at 814 865 7527.

     The Spring 1992 workshop will be held at the Mathematics Department at
The University of Maryland on March 12-15.  Registration will begin at 8 AM and
+ the first talk will begin at 9:30.  All members of the dynamics community,
especially those from the Eastern area, are welcome.  The host university
