We have been using Seagate Elite in our 530, 540, 550 and 930s with no
problems, except that the diagnostics do not test them , in fact they are
reported as a problem some times, yet the test fine on other systems.
 
 I would recommend getting the 5 year warranty with your drives just becuase
it is a smart idea.
