I have an application from the NIC for an Inetrnet address but they have no information on HOW to do it. I have information on how to connect to NearNet (?). It will cost $7000/year and $7450 initially for the hardware (9600 baud DDS leased line). Admittedly, this will provide the services we want but it is expensive. Are there other organizations that provide Internet access in the Boston area? If so, are the charges comparable to the above? Any information would be appreciated.
