Hello world,

I'm running ISC Unix 2.2 on my 386 box.  Recently I found a pretty good
deal for a new monitor & card, so I'm upgrading my display.  The new
hardware will be:

NEC Multisync II Monitor (1024x768 non-interlaced)
Orchid Prodesigner II (1 Meg on-board)

Now for my questions -

I intend to run Roell's X386 server with the new display.  Has anyone had
success with this particular set of hardware?  [or, with a similar setup..]

the other question --

With my old hardware (an ATI card) I've been having problems with VP/ix
changing the font, hiding my cursor, etc..  So the same question -- has
anyone had success (with VP/ix) with this particular set of hardware?

any caveats, warnings, threats, flames, etc. welcome..  Please e-mail, if
there is sufficient interest I'll summarize to comp.unix.sysv386..
