However, when I tried to set a cpu-time limit to a batch queue, I could not get it right. I strongly suspect that the various options in the Makefile were not set correctly. I more or less guessed some of them, I have already noticed, that RISC/ULTRIX is unlike the VAX/ULTRIX the Makefile knows about. Could someone with NQS working on a DECstation and better knowledge on the cpu and ULTRIX send me some information. I would also be grateful of a useful example of a device queue. I have got batch and pipe queues working, but the documentation being what it is, I have not been able to decide, if device queues would be practical in our system, let alone to build one.
